As a holder of the complete Nyingmapa lineage"kama, terma, and Dzogchen teachings, Khenpo Tsewang Rinpoche is fully versed in all the schools of Buddhism, and is a master of Dzogchen, the most advanced tradition of meditation practice in Tibetan Buddhism. He is the author of several learned works in Tibetan, and has co-authored over 25 Dharma books in English with his brother Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche. Khenpo Tsewang Rinpoche travels extensively within the U.S.A. and throughout the world, giving empowerments, teachings, and personal guidance at numerous retreats.

Born in the US, Lama Tsering served as H.E.Chagdud Tulku Rinpoches translator for more than 11 years. After completing a three year retreat in 1995, she was ordained as a lama and recognized by Rinpoche as a holder of the Red Tara lineage, authorized to give teachings and empowerments. That same year she was invited to teach in Brazil; based on the enthusiasm and interest encountered there, she became a permanent resident. Her warm and humorous manner of teaching reflects her own teachers style, with a focus on cultivating compassion, training the mind, and applying the dharma in a practical way. She teaches and conducts retreats in many cities across Brazil, Chile, New Zealand and Australia as well as returning every year to fulfill the requests of her students in North America. Lama Tsering is the resident lama and director of Chagdud Gonpa Odsal Ling in So Paulo and currently resides at the Odsal Ling temple in Cotia along with her husband Lama Padma Norbu.

Oct. 29th Sangye Khandro, a lineage holder of the Dudjom Tersar tradition, will introduce the Dudjom Troma Chod Severance tradition, give reading transmission for the preliminary practices, the feasts, the concise sadhana and discuss the profound meaning of this level of practice.
Morning session 10 - 12, afternoon session 2 to 5.

Oct. 30th Morning session will be a guided meditation on resting in Minds Pristine Nature with Q and A. Following a potluck lunch, Sangye will lead the Roma Ngondro practice and continue to explain the meaning of this profound treasure.

Abao Lamas Bio: Lama Abaos parents lived as nomads in Tibet at a time of great political change, and they endured many hardships just to survive. Five of their ten children died due to the difficult circumstances. Abao Lama was born in 1969. From the age of six until the age of eight he studied the Tibetan language and script. At the age of fourteen he met his Root Lama, His Eminence Garchen Rinpoche, with whom he took refuge at that time. Afterward he completed 500,000 recitations of the Fivefold Mahamudra Ngondro. At age fifteen Abao Lama received his monastic vows and instructions on Mahamudra from the Mahasiddha Karma Norbu. At the age of eighteen he met Khenpo Munsel from Golog for the first time. After having completed the Dzogchen Ngondro he received instructions and transmission on Trekcho and Thogal. Starting at the age of twenty-two, he served for three years at Gargon monastery, having responsibility for the offerings received by the monastery. In 1997 Abao Lama traveled with H.E. Garchen Rinpoche to America, and he subsequently became an American citizen. Since 1997 Rinpoche has built many centers around the world, and Abao Lama has been Rinpoches attendant and shrine master on his travels throughout Europe, Asia, and North America.

Join Venerable Karma Rinpoche and Jampal Gyatso for a special Chenrezig Buddha of Compassion Fire Ceremony. The inspiration arising from the ceremony is dedicated to world peace and the spiritual benefit for all beings. During the fire ceremony, food and herb medicine offerings are given to the fire while Rinpoche chants and recites special prayers.

The fire ceremony purifies obstacles and negativities,and offers healing to us and our world.For any important life event, such as birth,graduation, marriage, or career, the fire ceremony blesses the participant(s) and brings support.For those going through difficult times or forloved ones who have passed, the fire ceremony offers healing and blessings. Please contact us with the full names of loved ones or families you wish to be blessed. You may contribute toward the cost of purchasing offerings and conductingthe ceremony.
